Comcast Motorola DVR 30 second commercial skip and 15 second rewind:

Use this sequence to program the Comcast Motorola DVR remote control to skip recorded (or delayed) programs 30 seconds forward at a time:

Note: in some systems PAGE UP is programmed for 30 second forward skip, while in others it may be programmed for a 5 minute forward skip.

• Press the CABLE button.

• Press and hold the SETUP button until the 'cable' light blinks twice.

• Type 9 9 4. The 'cable' light should blink twice.

• Press SETUP.

• Type 0 0 1 7 3

• Press the button you want to assign the 30-second skip command to; ex, A, B, or perhaps C (the "Lock" buttons directly under the "DVR" buttons on the remote).

Use this sequence to program the Comcast Motorola DVR remote control to skip backward 15 seconds at a time:

Note: In some systems, the PAGE DOWN button is programmed for a 15 second rewind, while in others, it may be programmed for a 5 minute rewind.

• Press the CABLE button.

• Type in the code 9 9 4. The 'cable' light will again blink twice.

• Press (don't hold) the SETUP button.

• Type in the code 0 0 1 7 9.

• Press whatever button you want to assign the 15-second back command to; ex: A, B, or perhaps C (under the "Lock" buttons directly below the "DVR" buttons on the remote).
